Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum; at least 2 years required unless otherwise stated; recent inpatient psychiatric experience preferred 2. Cases: Psychiatric cases including ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Autism Spectrum, Eating disorders, PTSD, Anxiety Disorder, Depression, Major Depressive Disorder, Psychotic Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Disorder; adult substance abuse and withdrawal cases 3. Certifications: CA LVN, BLS, CPI or ProAct or PMAB or MOAB or Handle with Care required; must be AHA or ARC; copies required with valid expiration dates 4. License: CA LVN License required; Nursys within last 2 weeks with valid CA State License 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Five 8-hour shifts per week; patient ratio 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: NO RTO ACCEPTED initially stated, but later specifies max 7 days per contract; only 1 holiday per contract allowed 9. Returning Staff: No separation time required; former manager name needed on application 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at local rate 11.
