- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 3+ years recent experience strongly preferred for first-time travelers 2. Cases: NICU/PICU preferred; Pediatric experience strongly preferred 3. Certifications: RRT, BLS, PALS — all required prior to start; must be AHA or equivalent; National Certs required 4. License: DC RRT License required; pending accepted (takes 6-8 weeks) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3 or 4 shifts per week; every other weekend required; no on-call; floating within scope only (no sister facilities); 36 guaranteed hours/week; OT only after 48 hours 8. RTO: Max 3 shifts off for 13-week contracts; max 8 shifts off for 26-week contracts; if taking 1 full week off, must add one additional week to contract. No RTO approved for: August 31, September 6, November 23-29, December 21-January 3 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at travel rate 11. Background: Not specified 12.
