Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; specifically 2 years Pediatric/Neonatal experience required 2. Cases: Pediatric/Neonatal patients; Prior Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care experience required 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA only), NRP, PALS required; RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist via National Board of Respiratory Care) required 4. License: RRT required; must have current license in state of practice 5. Education: Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: Nights, 3x12 (1830-0700); 36 weekly guaranteed hours; no weekend hours; no call requirements; float as required by facility (Peds/Neonatal) 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at $10 below posted travel rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not specified 14. Scrubs: Black scrubs required; anything else is unacceptable 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required for all travelers November 1-April 1; declinations not accepted; Mercy-approved exemption accepted 16. Special Equipment: Draeger VN500, Hamilton G-5, Oscillator, Jet Vent; approximately 62 beds across Peds/PICU/NICU Critical: All contingency requests must be on the submission form.
