- Unit Notes:OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-$25 to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Respiratory Therapy - # treatments per day: Use AARC point system, assign around 26-28 points. - Certs: BLS, RRT (registered respiratory therapist) or CRT (certified respiratory therapist). - Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): RT cares for general med, intermediate and ICU patients. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Experience in a large (300 bed or more) critical care facility. Experience in critical care and have not worked at any OSF facility in the past year. Prefer RRT's, not CRT's. - RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Vents: Primary ventilator is Servo U, Servo i, LTV. Trilogy: Bipap, Cpap: ResMed S9; heated high flow: Fisher Paykel. - Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift?: Yes, team lead, does not take an assignment, serves as a resource. - Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Yes, both available 24/7. - Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours, 0630-1900; 1830-0700. - Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend, weekend are Saturday and Sunday for both days and nights. - Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday. - Call or standby call requirement?: No Call. - What is call response time: N/A. - Floating Requirements: No floating in RT. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs, scrubs are not provided. - Department Specific Orientation: First 12 hours, EPIC training, vent review, IPV and specialty item review, Second and Third 12 hour days with a preceptor, then on own.
