- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; Level 3 Nursery experience required 2. Cases: Must be able to attend C-Sections; transports within hospital required 3. Certifications: CRTT or RRT required; ACLS, BLS, and NRP required (NRP required to work in NICU); must be in hand at submission 4. License: LA License required in hand for July starts; RNs must have valid LA License or Compact License at time of submission — no pending accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic Charting required 7. Shifts/Call: Facility prefers 48 hours/week but open to 36/48 rotating; every other weekend required; 2 Fridays in a 4-week schedule; no call; must work weekend before Mardi Gras; winter holidays must work 2 of 3 8. RTO: No more than 5 consecutive days; no pre-approved time off; will work with summer holidays 9. Returning Staff: Perm staff must leave the health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: Locals (anyone under 75 miles) accepted at local rate regardless of specialty 11.
