Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: NICU preferred; Level 3 Nursery experience required; must be able to attend C-Sections 3. Certifications: RRT and/or CRT required, BLS required, ACLS required, NRP required to work in NICU (travelers can start with it pending), PALS preferred 4. License: LA State License required or Compact License; valid at time of submission, cannot accept pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holidays required; weekend before Mardi Gras required; must work 2 of 3 winter holidays 8. RTO: No more than 5 days consecutive; no pre-approved time off; will work with summer holidays 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff must leave health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: First timers accepted; travelers can only submit to 1 campus at a time 11. Background: Any license hits must be disclosed at time of submission with personal statement 12. Modules: Non-billable, 2-4 hours for Allied, completed pre-start, vary by specialty, recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Blue scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Required experience with Puritan Bennett 840/980, Servo I, V60's, Visions & Trilogy Critical: COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). Transports within hospital required. At least two recent manager references required. Hardtop deadline Wednesday prior to Monday start date.
