- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required for submission; 4 years listed in job requirements; charge experience preferred 2. Cases: Adult critical care, ER/ED, NICU, adult ICU stepdown, pediatric unit; airway management, ABGs, BiPAP/CPAP, mechanical ventilation, bronchial hygiene, lung inflation therapies; NICU assignments vary based on acuity and may include concurrent adult/ED assignments 3. Certifications: BLS required; CRTT/CRT required; ACLS required (90-day window from start date to obtain if pending); NRP preferred; RRT preferred; all must be in hand or pending disclosure at submission 4. License: VA License required; proof of application acceptable at submission if applied but not yet received; cannot be national license only; must accompany another state license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required; charting system experience listed as required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift 3x12s, 19:00-07:30; on-call required — 3 shifts per 6-week scheduling period (potential for mandatory on-call); every other weekend required; every other holiday required; float within scope required; traveler will be expected to serve as Team Lead at times 8.
