- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required for submission; 4 years listed in job requirements 2. Cases: Adult critical care, ER/ED, NICU, adult ICU, pediatric unit; airway management, ABGs, BiPAP/CPAP, mechanical ventilation, bronchial hygiene, lung inflation therapies; NICU assignments vary by acuity and may include simultaneous adult/ED assignments 3. Certifications: BLS required; CRTT required; ACLS required (90-day window from start date to obtain if pending); NRP preferred; RRT preferred; all must be in hand or actively pending at submission 4. License: VA License required; proof of application accepted at submittal alongside another state license (cannot be national) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Night shift, 4x12s, 19:00-07:30; every other weekend required; every other holiday required; on-call mandatory at 3 shifts per 6-week scheduling period; traveler will be expected to serve as Team Lead at times; floats to ER, Adult ICU, Stepdown, and Pediatric units 8.
