- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2-4 years required (notes show conflicting requirements of 2 years and 4 years) 2. Cases: RRT must float to ER and Adult ICU Stepdown units; NICU assignments vary by acuity; rotation required in adult units, ED, ICUs, and pediatric unit 3. Certifications: BLS, CRTT, ACLS required (90-day window from start to obtain ACLS); NRP and RRT preferred; all required certifications must be obtained prior to start 4. License: VA License required (or proof of application with another state license - cannot be national); compact accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required/preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s 19:00-07:30; mandatory on call potential - 2-3 shifts per month/6 weeks 8. RTO: At manager's discretion; will need to add week at end of assignment if requesting more than 7 days RTO; only 1 holiday request for OR/CST units 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year before returning as traveler; if hits 1 year mark, must take full year off before returning 10. Travel/Local: No radius rule; locals accepted at same rate; will float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals 11. Background: Nursys only required prior to submission 12. Modules: 8 hours average, completed pre-start via WorkRamp; non-billable 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Wine color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Preferred ventilators - Servo U, Servo Air, Servo N Critical: Must submit copies of all required certs and current Nursys report; must include middle initial at submission; traveler expected to be Team Lead at times; first-timers accepted; travel pairs not allowed on SICU unit.
