- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics along with ED; 2 years of CURRENT NICU AND PICU experience 2. Cases: Level IV NICU experience, pediatric cardiac anomalies 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT (strongly preferred), CRT (considered case by case); must be in-hand at submission 4. License: NC RRT or Compact license must be in-hand (takes 2-4 weeks); Nursys required for RNs 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: 6 weekend shifts per schedule (6-week blocks); on-call not applicable 8. RTO: 5-7 days max, must be included with submission 9. Returning Staff: Any previous permanent Duke University Health System employment must be included; cannot have been permanent Duke employee within past 6 months 10.
