- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: At least 2 years of Critical Care experience required; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Adult critical care experience required; ICU populations include Cardiovascular (post-op cardiac, thoracic, complex vascular surgery, heart & lung transplant, LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Impella, post cardiac arrest, AMI, decompensated heart failure) and Medical-Surgical ICU (ARDS, septic shock, hematologic & oncologic emergencies, GI hemorrhage, pulmonary hypertension) 3. Certifications: NBRC RRT cert, BLS, and ACLS required; CRT will be considered 4. License: SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour shifts, 7P-7:30A; holidays required; every other weekend required; on-call not required; may float to Main Hospital (adult population, same policies and equipment); no floating to sister facilities; emergency team activation as required 8. RTO: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission; approval based on manager/unit needs 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
