Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Mammography
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-timers not accepted 2. Cases: Outpatient screening and diagnostic mammography exams, bone density/DEXA, stereotactic and ultrasound biopsy, magseed and wire loc placement, post clip placements; tech will not be required to learn biopsies or localization exams but must be comfortable with post clip exams; caseload is 30-40 per day 3. Certifications: BLS required, ARRT (Mammography) required; all must be in hand; Registered Breast Ultrasound or Registered Breast Sonographer preferred 4. License: Illinois license (IEMA) required; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience highly preferred; orientation can include Meditech training 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Days, Mon-Fri, variable shift; Mon and Fri 08:00-16:30, Tue-Wed-Thu 09:00-17:30; rotating Saturdays approximately every 6th; on-call not required 8. RTO: Finalized RTO must be included with submission; no RTO within first week of start date; no more than 10 days of RTO per assignment 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
