Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years preferred 2. Cases: Daily caseload 13-17; Neuro/stroke and body procedures required; all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required; ARRT Advanced Cert preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; McKesson preferred 7. Shifts/Call: First shift 0700-0830, M-F; weekends and evenings/nights on call rotation required 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; no RTO after booking allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months; facility rehire approval required 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; travel experience required; does not accept first-time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 8-10 hours for acute care, non-billable, completed pre-start via online learning/Zoom/webinar/in-person 13. Travel Experience: Required; does not accept first-time travelers 14.
