- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 3+ years preferred; minimum 1 year in similar role within active interventional cardiac cath, NeuroIR, IR, or EP labs preferred 2. Cases: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology procedures including angioplasty, stent placement, embolizations, biopsies 3. Certifications: ARRT Certification required, BLS through American Heart Association required, ACLS through American Heart Association required; certifications must be through AHA 4. License: IEMA Licensure required, Illinois license in hand required (emergency and pending licenses not accepted) 5. Education: Graduate of accredited Radiology Technologist program or Associate Degree in Applied Sciences required; Bachelor of Science Degree preferred; BSN required for Northwestern Memorial Hospital, ASN or BSN accepted at other facilities 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: On call required rotating with current staff, 30 minute radius, 13.5 hours, rotating as needed; weekend requirement yes 8. RTO: All time off must be included at submission, cannot be added after submittal; pre-approved time off limited to two 9. Returning Staff: Northwestern Medicine and any acquired facilities must be included in employment history if applicable 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12.
