- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1-2 years preferred, first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: 10-15 cases per tech daily; vascular IR including endografts, neurovascular, and trauma along with body IR; stroke thrombectomy facility; must be able to scrub a variety of cases; preferred ability to scrub neurovascular cases and be familiar with thrombectomy devices for strokes; required experience includes contrast/biopsies, aspirations, myelography, nerve root blocks/ablations/angiograms/tube placements/kyphoplasty/peripherals/drainages/venous access/endografts; required work setting: outpatient/adult ICU; preferred work setting: operating room/children's hospital/PICU 3. Certifications: ACLS (preferred), ARRT R, BLS, Fluoro Permit (preferred), Indiana state license required; copies required prior to start; pending certs accepted 4. License: Indiana state license required; pending state license accepted but must be active by start; candidate must be willing to participate in Aya licensure project if not yet licensed 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 days (0700-1530); hours shift to 0800-1630 when on call; call required 1 day per week; weekend call every third or fourth weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday); holiday coverage as needed; no floating requirement 8. RTO: Maximum 10 days RTO; if RTO falls during holidays, traveler must be willing to work 1 of the 3 holidays; one pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 3 years before returning as a traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals not accepted 11. Background: Nursys only; background policy must be noted prior to submission 12. Modules: Up to 8 hours to be completed within 1 week of signing; billable up to 8 hours; average 3-8 hours; completed pre-start; self-reported; Beacon is a sensitive account — conduct issues including unprofessional behavior or shift call-offs may result in immediate contract termination 13. Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted; travel experience not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by hospital 15. Flu Vaccine: Required — medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: GE and Siemens fluoro rooms preferred; must be familiar with wires Critical: Must have scrub experience. Neurovascular IR experience preferred but not required. Candidate may float within hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals depending on volume/census. Only 1 submission per system allowed.
