- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; Previous Charge Experience preferred 2. Cases: Interventional Radiology; Pediatric IR; Hybrid OR; Special Procedures; visceral and vascular angiography; angioplasty; stent and endograft placement; embolization (including radioembolization and chemoembolization); thrombolysis/thrombectomy; IVC filter placement and removal; venous and central access (ports, PICC, line care/maintenance); RFA of the liver; liver biopsy; paracentesis; thoracentesis; chest tube and gastrostomy tube placement; esophageal stent placement; ERCP; cholecystostomy; catheter/drain exchange; cystoscopy; diagnostic catheterizations (adult/pediatric/neonatal); hemodynamic monitoring; cardiac stent placement; Impella insertion; fluoroscopy; 3D imaging 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT(R) required; all certifications required at time of submission unless otherwise specified 4. License: Active NJ Radiologic Technologist License or Compact License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Call every 3rd weekend; must work 2 of 3 holidays (unless otherwise specified); facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; clinicians must make up missed shifts within the same pay period 8. RTO: No RTO requests approved after offer; submissions with less than 7 days of RTO and no holiday time off are prioritized; screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests required upon submission; block/special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking; RWJ contract is expected to be traveler's primary work schedule 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff (full time or PRN) must be gone from the RWJBH health system a minimum of 1 year before eligible to return for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted; any international work history or permanent residency must be disclosed 12. Modules: Allied average 1 hour of non-billable modules; 4 hours of Epic training; modules completed pre-start and annually; recorded by transcripts for onsite specific modules; RWJBH annuals, Baxter pump, and signed attestations are self-reported; Epic training is facility reported; failing competency exams requires a 6-month break before resubmission; maximum of 3 submissions per candidate per facility 13.
