- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (note: conflicting information shows 2 years in compliance section) 2. Cases: Special procedures including adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, embolization, ERCP, IVC filter placement/removal, liver biopsy, paracentesis, stent placement, thoracentesis, endovascular interventions, and vascular closure systems 3. Certifications: ARRT R, BLS required 4. License: CA License in hand required; Nursys attached within 2 weeks; no Nursys hits allowed 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC required; EPIC training approximately 8 hours 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 hour days 07:00-17:30; call required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend every 5 weeks at $15 rate 8. RTO: Must be presented at submission; must be 5 days or less; maximum two pre-approved 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff not allowed 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; locals accepted at lower rate; candidates float within hospital based on census 11. Background: No Nursys hits allowed 12. Modules: Non-billable; allied hours 4 hours; completed pre-start and during orientation; recorded via certificates/transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Yes, required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Omnicell medication system, vascular closure systems, interpretation of dysrhythmias equipment Critical: Minimum hourly taxable wage of $25 per hour required by City of Long Beach. One reference required within 2 years. 24 orientation hours. Unit accepts first-time travelers.
