- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required; 18 months experience required per general policy 2. Cases: Liver center, Y 90, MAAS, AVS, DEBS, PTC, Drain Placements 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required; ACLS preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: On call 1 day per week 5:30pm-7am; do 1 week of call per every 9-10 weeks 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 days of non-holiday RTO or less; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent or PRN employee must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract break required after 12 months employment 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for Surgical Services, Allied positions, and IU Clinics at lower rate; not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, and ER positions 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14.
