Requirements
- Required certification: Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Vascular IR - angioplasty, carotid stenting, endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, upper and lower extremity angiography 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT VI required; copies required with submission 4. License: VA license required but can submit with pending, must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days 0730-1600, rotating call every 4th week 8. RTO: Only guaranteed up to 40 hours per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at UVA Health system; requires one year separation and leadership approval; cannot return after working 365 days on assignment 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals not accepted for Imaging Support positions 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager of any background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, recorded in Workday; excess hours are billable 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
