- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Peripheral angiography/venography with intervention, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid stenting, neuro-intervention including acute stroke, embolization; Interventional Radiology setting 3. Certifications: BLS required; ARRT and ARRT VI required; Vascular Intervention Cert preferred; must be AHA or equivalent 4. License: ARRT, WV State License required; may submit with pending but must be active prior to start; license verification pulled within 2 days of submission date; clean license required; hits submitted for case-by-case approval 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days, Monday-Friday, typically 7:30a-6p; on-call rotation weekdays and weekends included; approximately 8 call days per month including 1 weekend/month; 30-minute response time; 2-hour callback minimum; every third weekend required (5-6 total per contract); 40 hours/week guaranteed; floating required to CAMC General (sister facility 2 miles away) for 1 week 8. RTO: Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests within reason; to be discussed at interview; up to two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return to CAMC as a traveler for 2 years after last day worked permanently 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; candidates within 75-99 miles can be sent for facility approval 11. Background: License hits submitted for case-by-case basis approval; driver's license and SSN required in submission PDF 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Blue surgical scrubs issued by the hospital 15. Special Equipment: Fluoroscopy (Siemens preferred), Ultrasound preferred, PACS; vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Critical: One PDF submission must contain candidate profile (work history), specialty-specific skills checklist, minimum 2 manager/charge references within past 2 years, license verification pulled within 2 days of submission date, driver's license, and SSN. Orientations are every other Monday. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
