- Unit Notes:General Certification Requirements (BLS, etc.) BLS Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 2 Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Can be floated to Mercy Southwest(approx 6.5 miles away) Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties Brain, MRCP, ABD, pelvis, extremities Experience or 'Must have' skills At least 2 years' experience Average # of scans/studies per day 100 EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use Radnet & Merge Unity Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) GE & Toshiba Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Lead Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No Radiologist in-house? Yes Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No Weekend Requirements Every other Holiday Requirements Yes - 1 major & 1 minor Call or Standby requirement? Response time? 30 minutes - rotating call Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided?
