Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year in specialty required; first-timers not accepted; travel experience required 2. Cases: Breast, Brain (Primary, Benign, Mets/SRS/SRT), Lung, SABR Lung, Palliative Mets, Prostate, GI/GU, Pediatric (inpatient and outpatient), SRS, SBRT, DIBH Breast, Low Dose RT for Osteoarthritis 3. Certifications: ARRT-T and BLS required; copies of all certifications must be included at time of submission 4. License: MN license preferred in hand; if not, must apply through Aya project at time offer is accepted; Nursys or Allied License verification required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic/Excellian required; charting experience marked as required 7. Shifts/Call: Shift 7:30-16:00; no on-call required; no weekend requirement; candidate must cover two locations (Abbott Northwestern in Minneapolis and United Hospital in St. Paul, approximately 15 minutes/10 miles apart); block schedule accommodated 8. RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days; one pre-approved time off noted; any vacation plans between sign date and start date must be communicated to Account Manager at time of submission 9. Returning Staff: Traveler must be gone 3 months from last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem; Allina does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or for former perm employees 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted for Radiology positions only; candidates less than 100 miles from facility must be redirected unless they are in a Radiology position; confirm mileage eligibility before submitting 11. Background: Cannot proceed if there is an open case; all hits reviewed during compliance process and cannot be screened prior to signing; fingerprinting required — only 25 states outside Minnesota can perform LiveScan prints; results can take 1 day to 3-4 weeks; candidates will not be cleared to start without fingerprint results on file; no exceptions 12. Modules: Pre-start modules required; average 8 hours; travelers receive $150 stipend for completion; all onsite modules (Excellian/Epic classes) are billable; recorded by transcripts 13. Travel Experience: Required 14. Scrubs: Grey 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: 4 Varian TrueBeams (2 with and 2 without EDGE packages), 2 GE CT SIM, Align/Vision RT, CBCT, Triggered Imaging Critical: Candidate Date of Birth, SSN, and RTO must all be included in initial submission. One supervisor reference minimum required at time of submission. Compliance document deadline is the Monday prior to start. Each candidate may only be submitted to one position at a time per Allina policy. Fingerprinting must be completed as early as possible due to processing times.
