Requirements
- Required certification: Radiation Therapy
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Head and Neck, Sarcoma, CNS, Thoracic, All Peds, GU cancers 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; OCN, ONS/ONCC, PALS preferred; ARRT in Radiation Therapy Technology required 4. License: OH licensed required; must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: M-F 6am-4:30pm, 8.5 hours with 30 minute lunch; 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks; no on-call or weekends 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off periods; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away from facility; current employees ineligible as travelers 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start; urgent Ohio fingerprinting process required immediately after signing 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Previous charge experience preferred; patient ratio experience of 15 14. Scrubs: Black pants, any top 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Varian TrueBeam linacs, Halcyon, Aria version 15, VisionRT or OSMS required Critical: Must be fully competent on specified radiation equipment. Two professional references required with at least one from manager/director. 80 orientation hours. Strict fingerprinting compliance required.
