- Unit Notes:Department: Physical Therapist *Certifications Required: BLS, WI License* **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** - # of patients treated per day: On average 10-12 for an 8 hour day. - Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Mainly orthopedic (post-surgical, general pain), neuro, imbalance, weakness. - Acute Inpatient, Acute Rehab, Skilled, Outpatient?: Acute inpatient/Swingbed rehab (census 3-4; 2-3 hrs/shift), & outpatient. - What areas are they required to cover?: Acute inpatient, Swingbed, outpatient. Typically 2-3 hours of inpatient, Swingbed a day and then outpatient coverage. - Experience or 'Must have' skills & common job duties: Must be able to handle a fast paced busy environment. Must have at least 1 year of experience outside of school. Prefer have 3 years of experience outside of school. Prefer inpatient experience, will consider someone with only outpatient experience. Prefer prior Cerner experience. - PT Manager/Supervisor: Patty Hautamaki PT (manager). - Rehab Aides: PTA's: We do currently have a rehab aide/appt coordinator duties include scheduling, managing authorizations, cleaning, stocking, record requests. No PTAs. - Shifts & Scheduling: 5-8 hrs shifts, Mon- Fri 0800-1630. Will consider 4-10 hr shifts, 0700-1730, Schedule made out by Manager Dept open from 0700-1700. - Weekend Requirements: No weekends. - Holiday Requirements: No Holidays. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Can wear scrubs or business casual. Either is fine. Closed toed shoes. - Department specific orientation: Orientation will start day one consisting of one-on-one orientation with manager, computer based trainings. 1-2 days with a preceptor, will be expected to take a patient on their own by day 2 and full case load by 3. *MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield.
