- Unit Notes:Department: Pharmacist *Certifications Required: BLS, WI license (will accept ACT 10). **Local Rate: Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility. Client rates reduced by $8.00/hour.** Certs/Licensure Requirements WI license, will accept ACT 10 What areas will they cover (ER, ICU, Inpt, Outpt, etc.) Inpatient roles, Variable based on team needs; must be comfortable with standard pediatric orders due to Pediatric hospital being imbedded Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills Order verification, product check and release, remote sterile compounding verification, clinical tasks (ie IV-PO, renal dose review, aminoglycoside and anticoagulation dosing), Any specific experience or 'Must have' skills Min 1 yr hospital, residency trained or 3 yrs experience preferred Pharmacy Techs? staffed 24 hrs in sterile compounding and nonsterile roles Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) 10 hr shifts Block schedule in PM/overnight roles of 7/70; day shifts are 8 hr staggered start beginning at 0600 Weekend Requirements up to every other weekend Holiday Requirements Rotating Is there an on-call requirement? No; call in may be asked for sick calls What Medication Dispensing System? How does it work? Omnicell ADMs, Cerner EMR, Pharmacy Keeper compounding and remote verification Scrubs or Dress Code Requirements Business casual unless entering sterile environment in which case facility scrubs are provided in Navy What does orientation look like for this role? 1-2 weeks depending on specialization of the role being filled Cancellation Policy:Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks Charting System:Cerner BSN Required:False License to Submit:Yes, willing to wait Trauma Level:2 Care Setting:Acute Division:Allied Shift Notes:7/70: rotate between 2nd shift (1200 to 2200) and 3rd shift (2100 to 0700). Typically work week will start on Wed for them. Required Certifications:BLS (AHA)
