Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience required 2. Cases: IV experience, pain controlled analgesia, antibiotics, drug interactions, order entry, verify medication orders required; Chemo experience, anticoagulants, Pharmacokinetic Dosing, Renal Dosing preferred 3. Certifications: PharmD, RPh required 4. License: VA or compact license required in hand at time of submittal 5. Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8's rotating schedule, weekdays, some weekends (every 3rd weekend). Day shifts: 0630-1500, 0730-1600, 0900-1730, 1000-1830; Evening shifts: 1300-2130, 1430-2300; Overnight shifts: 1930-0730, 2030-0730 8. RTO: Required with submission, reviewed and approved on per case basis 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule for RN candidates; allied positions considered if permanent address less than 50 miles from facility 11. Background: Facility will not accept any prior license or background hits; any history eliminates candidate 12. Modules: 3 hours required, billable, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: Travel experience preferred 14. Scrubs: Scrubs not provided; professional dress or hunter green scrubs 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Facility cannot accommodate PAPR; any fit test issues eliminate candidate. EKG testing not required for Pharmacy positions.
