Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: Bariatrics, Ortho/Spine, Ortho/Total Joints, Robotics, Thoracic, Orthopedic, Ankle fusion, Trauma, Urology, Electrosurgical units, Surgical First Assist Skills, Endocrine Surgery 3. Certifications: BLS required, DC State Licensed in hand upon submittal; ARC-ST, AST, ACS, SASA, and by CAAHEP (CHEA), CSA 4. License: DC license in hand required upon submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 40HRS Day 06:30-1700; On call, Weekend/holiday rotation, one weekend every 8 weeks Saturday and Sunday from 0630-1530 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employment must have been separated for minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; candidate address must match driver's license 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing contract; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours; completed pre-start and potentially during orientation 13.
