Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Cardiovascular Tech
Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10×4, 40 hrs/week, weekends on call
Length: 12 weeks
Call Required? Yes, 50% of time (full weeks on call at a time)
Requirements:
- 2 years minimum of recent open-heart experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS
- CST certification or Tech in Surgery TS-C (NCCT) certification
- High School Diploma/GED
- Scrub technician experience preferred
- Operating room experience and/or training course preferred
- Experience with general OR cases (robotic, ortho, urology, gyn) preferred
- Open to teaching/training an RN to scrub CV cases preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent preferred
Other Details:
- EMR: Epic (facility transitioning from Cerner to Epic)
- Floating to the main OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled
- Case types: open heart, vascular, thoracic
- Scrubs provided
