- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Heart and lung transplants required (screen if no experience); LVAD, Robotic Thoracic, and Trauma experience required/preferred; Level 2 experience required, Level 1 preferred; extensive surgical case experience including CABG, TAVR, EVAR, VATS, and more as listed in skills checklist 3. Certifications: BLS required; CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting preferred; Surgical Technologist/Technician competency exam and CORE exams required; Skills checklist must be submitted 4. License: CORE exams allied License/Certification required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Call required — 1 weekday per week and 1 full weekend per 4 weeks; Orientation: 40 hours 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off slots noted 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10.
