- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required in specialty; must have experience with heart and lung transplants, trauma cases; Level 2 experience required, Level 1 experience preferred 2. Cases: Heart and lung transplants, trauma cases required 3. Certifications: BLS required; CST (Certified Surgical Technician) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting preferred; must submit skills checklist 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at submission; will not accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: 1 weekday per week and 1 full weekend per 4 weeks 8. RTO: Must be presented at submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved; two pre-approved time off periods 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 6 months to return as traveler; must note if previously worked at facility to check rehire eligibility 10. Travel/Local: Local travelers within 100 miles not accepted; candidates will float within hospital or to affiliate hospital 11.
