- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: CV, heart and lung transplant required; endovascular procedures a plus; Core 5 requires 3/4 of CV, heart and lung transplant 3. Certifications: BLS and NBSTA required; NBSTA must be in hand at time of submission; AHA not specified 4. License: IN state license required; pending state license not accepted; NOTE: Effective 11/30/24, IN RNs may not work at IU Health facilities (exceptions: Periop/OR RNs, Allied, Ambulatory RN travelers, ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: On-call required (approx. 110 hours); 1 full weekend within a 6-week call schedule; guaranteed hours vary: 8 and 10-hour shifts at 40 hrs/week, three 12-hour shifts at 36 hrs/week, four 12-hour shifts at 48 hrs/week; open to block schedule (to be discussed) 8.
