Requirements
- Required certification: OR Tech - CVOR
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 5+ years total CST experience, 2+ years in cardiac & vascular, 1 year CVOR experience, 1 year Level I Trauma facility experience required 2. Cases: CVOR procedures (CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement), thoracic, vascular, general OR; cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: PM Weekends 1830-0700, call required, must be flexible; no 10-hour shifts, no 3-12 hour shifts, no block scheduling 8. RTO: Required with submission, must be built into contract; one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible for traveler positions 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 80 orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted) 14. Scrubs: Scrub experience required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Must have experience with heart/lung transplant equipment, CABG, laparoscopic cardiac surgery, mitral valve replacement, VAD, AAA repair, A-V fistula repair, endovascular repair, femoral popliteal bypass, TEVAR Critical: Strict compliance deadline Tuesday prior to start. Must complete fingerprints immediately after signing. Two professional references required with at least one from management.
