- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Highly preferred - Neuro (spines/crani), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (Davinci Xi) Cases; Common cases include Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (crani, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN 3. Certifications: NBSTSA required (MUSC does NOT accept NCCT), BLS required; Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency 4. License: South Carolina RN License; MUSC prioritizes candidates with SC license in hand but will consider pending licenses with proof of application 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s, days, 6:30A-5:00P with holiday rotation; rotating weekends; up to 4 call shifts (EoS-7a) per month 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; Auto offers available for 7 days or less non-holiday RTO 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius; locals considered case-by-case at 10% less than posted bill rate; MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates first 11. Background: Not specified 12.
