- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Acute care experience recommended; ICU experience preferred 2. Cases: Neuro, multi-trauma, medically complex diagnoses; neuro re-education, ADLs/self-care, balance, transfer training, wheelchair training, cognitive re-education, BUE ROM/positioning, general strengthening, positioning, energy conservation, splinting, home safety and family training 3. Certifications: BLS up to date, MSOT or OTD degree from accredited OT program, pass NBCOT exam; BLS and Utah OT license required 4. License: Utah state license to practice required 5. Education: MSOT or OTD degree from accredited OT program 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: 10-hour shifts, 70.40 hours (adjustable to 80 if needed); 1-2 late day ortho shifts per 2-week pay period; start times 7am-8:30am except late ortho shift 9:30am-8pm; alternate weekends 8. May cross-train to acute rehab unit. Evals must be seen or acknowledged within 24 hours.
