- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Burn patients with 0-100% TBSA burns; patients with physical therapy needs including pain, surgical dressings; mobility and positioning to prevent contractures and scarring 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Valid LA License or Compact License required at submission; cannot accept pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting required 7. Shifts/Call: Must work Saturday and Sunday in BURN unit, plus 3 other shifts Monday-Friday; patient ratio 8 during days and weekends 8. RTO: Not specified 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff must leave health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: Travelers can only submit to 1 campus at a time; accepts first time travelers 11. Background: Any license hits must be disclosed at submission with personal statement 12. Modules: 2-4 hours for Allied; non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Accepts first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Scrubs provided 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Hoyer lift; private gym within burn center with therapy equipment Critical: Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist accepted. Must be able to float inpatient. Hardtop deadline Wednesday prior to Monday start date. At least two recent manager references required. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
