- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: CVA, trauma, ortho, medical surgical, neuro, ambulatory care; patient population includes Adults and Geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS and NBCOT required; certifications must be AHA or American Red Cross; valid expiration dates required at submission 4. License: Valid CA State License required; Nursys upload within last 2 weeks 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Not specified; Orientation is 16 hours 8. RTO: Max 7 days per contract; only 1 holiday per contract may be requested; holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day (beginning 7:00 PM the night before through 7:00 AM the day after) 9.
