- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required 2. Cases: Experience treating stroke, SCI, amputee, and general rehab populations in fast-paced inpatient rehab setting 3. Certifications: BLS, MD OT License required 4. License: Must have either a compact license or an MD license; some units accept pending MD license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner/MedConnect experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8 Days; typically 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; float required as needed 8. RTO: No RTO permitted during first two weeks; no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; must be included at submittal 9. Returning Staff: Previous MedStar employees must be separated minimum one year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile local radius; locals accepted at lower rate; must complete minimum 1 travel assignment 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Facility-specific Sitel modules must be completed within one week of signing; billable up to 4 hours, average 12 hours duration 13. Travel Experience: Must complete minimum 1 prior travel assignment 14. Scrubs: Any color except nursing blue/white combination 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Labs and DS appointment must be completed within 48 hours of signing. Two supervisory references required including one from most recent assignment.
