Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Renal and limb preservation patients (lower extremity), patients include ESRD, ARF, vascular procedures, CHF, diabetics, diabetic foot ulcers 3. Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS and NIH preferred; must pass EKG Testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12 hour nights, 36 or 48 hours can be offered; float requirement yes; weekend requirement every other; must work 2 of 3 major holidays 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate; unit will accept 1st time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Unit will accept 1st time travelers 14. Scrubs: Not provided; colors navy or white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
