- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Med/Surg, Ortho, Neurology, Cardiology, General Surgical patients required; will float between all units (Medical, Medical Surgical, Surgical 7Tower, Surgical 8Tower, ICU Stepdown, Cardiology 4N/4S/4W, Rehab, Neurology) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC required; must be able to work independently with no training 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 shifts per week; shift time 06:30-19:00; clinician responsible for signing up via Shifts app; must provide 5 days of availability, two of which must be a weekend (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday); 24-hour guarantee applies when scheduling requirements are met (excludes first week, last week, and any week containing RTO) 8. RTO: Guarantee does not apply to any week containing RTO 9. Returning Staff: All previous PeaceHealth employees (travel, perm, Registry, WFD, or any capacity) must have the PeaceHealth facility added to their application work history; missing information can result in cancellation; all previous employees are screened for eligibility to return; 12-month separation period required for permanent employees 10. Travel/Local: Travel experience required; candidates with 4+ years inpatient experience but no travel may be screened to the unit manager 11. Background: Candidates with multiple staffing or behavioral concerns may be rejected 12. Modules: Orientation is mandatory; held every other Monday at 0700, beginning with a classroom session followed by unit orientation; hard compliance deadline is the Wednesday prior to orientation 13.
