Unit is a designated stroke unit with Thrombectomy Capable JCAHO designation, Spine Center of Excellence JCAHO designation, and NAEC Level 3 Epilepsy Center. Skills expected include BiPAP/CPAP management, chest tubes, craniotomy, CVA care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, neuro stepdown, pre/post neurosurgery, procedural sedation, spinal cord injury, telemetry, and traumatic brain injury.
