- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum per Sutter policy; VMS notes 3 years; 2 years of ED experience specifically required 2. Cases: Abdominal pain, Acute psychosis, Arterial line management, Asthma, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Burns, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chest tube insertion/management, Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation, CVA, Drug overdose, Emergency Medications, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, Gunshot wounds, Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Infection, Interpretation of ABGs, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intubation, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Manage/apply splints, Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Managing violent behavior, Mental/behavioral health conditions, Near drowning, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Phlebotomy, Poison ingestion, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Psychiatric Hold, Respiratory infection, Seizures, Sickle cell crisis, Skin Disorders, Starting and maintaining IVs, Suicidal patient, Triage, Urinary Tract Infection 3.
