Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Cardiac and stroke patients; pre/post pacemaker implantation, cardiac catheterization, TR bands, CVA, TIA patients, cardiac drips 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, and NIH required 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 12-hour nights (1845-07:15); call required based on patient census; every other weekend, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays in 6-week period required 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required with hospital name/dates employed 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Pre-start modules factored into first 24 hours NBO; Acute Care 8-10 hours; must be completed pre-start; conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge 13. Travel Experience: Yes, willing to accept first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue or white or mixture of both; jackets same material and color as uniforms 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
