- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Cardiac Unit; MS/Tele; interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, peripheral line care/management, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, phlebotomy (mandatory competency), IV placement (mandatory competency) 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must be in hand at submission 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred; charting system experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Day/Eve ratio 5:1 (stretch 6-7); Night ratio 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in); no on-call required; EOW weekend requirement; float within scope and between like units required; block schedule attempted but not guaranteed 8.
