- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted 2. Cases: Cardiac Unit; MS/Tele; patient diagnoses include cardiac conditions; adults and geriatrics 3. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; must have competency in phlebotomy and IV placement (mandatory for all RNs at Unity) 4. License: Pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Day/Eve ratios 5:1 (stretch 6-7); Night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10 if staff calls in); on-call not required; EOW weekend requirement; block schedule attempted but not guaranteed; all travelers required to float 8.
