Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; telemetry monitoring experience required 2. Cases: Medical telemetry patients including substance withdrawal, behavioral/complex social needs, gastrointestinal, respiratory and sepsis management 3. Certifications: BLS required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission 5. Education: BSN preferred but ASN accepted 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every 3rd weekend required; no on call; no block scheduling 8. RTO: RTO due at time of submission; RTO after submission not accepted; one holiday requirement (1 summer and 1 winter) 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; local rate differential applies; first time travelers accepted 11. Background: PA fingerprints required; may require travel time over 100 miles 12. Modules: Non-billable if completed in first 8 hours of orientation; billable after that; completed during orientation 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Navy blue required 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Telemetry monitoring; virtual nursing capabilities Critical: Must complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Pass/fail exam required with only 3 attempts allowed. Floating required to 1 other unit. Patient ratio 4-5. 12 orientation hours.
