- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required; must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital; Level I Academic Medical Center experience required (Trauma Level I listed as Required) 2. Cases: Sepsis, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, cardiac disease, COVID-19, post-bariatric procedures, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, high oxygen delivery systems, end-of-life care; titratable drips required on all floors 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Pending license accepted; however, if not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour options available; 13 or 26-week contract options; Days ratio 1:8, Nights ratio 1:9; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period (Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday night and Saturday night); Travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently within scope, including potentially to Bellevue campus; Holiday requirement: must work 2 of 3 major holidays, submit with application 8. RTO: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion 9. Returning Staff: First-time travelers not accepted (will consider if traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center) 10. Travelers are first to float; float units may include 4CS, 5 West, 6 Neuro, 4/5 Lied, 6/7 Lied, 7 HVU, 8 Werner, 9 Trauma, Bellevue MS, Observation, and SOTU. 100% nicotine-free facility. Parking available via permit (approximately $55/month) or daily rate ($3 for 20 hours).
