Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required; must have 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital; Trauma Level I experience required 2. Cases: Medical and telemetry patients with acute and/or chronic illness including sepsis, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, cardiac disease, and COVID-19; management of titratable drips, chest tubes, tracheostomies, complex wound care, post-bariatric procedures, high oxygen delivery systems, and end-of-life care 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: Pending license accepted; however, if license is not in hand at time of submission, traveler will be booked six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 36 or 48-hour options available; 13 or 26-week contract options; Days ratio 1:8, Nights ratio 1:9; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period; Days: Saturday and Sunday; Nights: Friday night and Saturday night; travelers are first to float and must be prepared to float frequently 8. RTO: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion; travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays, submit holiday request with application 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Locals NOT accepted; candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: Drips required on all floors; includes Heparin, Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Insulin, IVIG, etc. Critical: 100% nicotine-free facility. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. Float may include Bellevue campus. Parking available at approximately $55/month or $3 daily rate.
