Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 18 months of true Telemetry experience required; 1 year listed in system; cardiac experience required including titrating drips, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and experience with sheaths 2. Cases: Cardiac Telemetry Float Pool; pre/post cardiac cath, pre/post cardiac surgery, post MI, CVA, traumatic brain injury, renal failure, spinal cord injury, pre/post hemodialysis, pre/post neurosurgery; must take COVID patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), CPI, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred; mandatory onsite EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher pass rate on lethal rhythms — no exceptions or traveler will be canceled; 8 cardiac CEUs and 8 stroke CEUs required for Tele placement 4. License: MO RN or Compact license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required — no exceptions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-hour nights; every other weekend required; must be willing to float; no block scheduling added to contract; September start date only 8. RTO: No time off presented after submission will be approved; no block scheduling 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11. Background: Not specified 12.
