- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years MS/Tele experience required 2. Cases: General Medical Surgical, COVID, TB, all negative pressure rooms; skills include interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, CVA, renal failure, cardiac drips (no titration), blood product administration, PICC line management, feeding tube care, isolation precautions 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid LA License or Compact License due at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted; any license hits must be disclosed with personal statement 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: No straight 3x12 schedules; travelers work alternating 3x12/4x12 every other week, or straight 4x12s; no on-call; float required; weekend requirement yes; holiday requirement: at least 2 of 3 holidays (note conflict — one section states 1 of 3 holidays; confirm with facility) 8. RTO: Less than 5 days RTO or time added to end of contract; more than 1 week RTO must be added to end of contract 9. Returning Staff: Perm staff must leave the health system for 1 year before eligible to travel 10.
