Job Description
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – Med Surg/Tele 2W
Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12×3, 36hrs per week, EOW, EOH
Length: 13 Weeks
Requirements:
- OH License
- Must have 2 years of experience
- Dysrhythmia Exam Required
- Experience with insulin gtts
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH
- CCRN preferred
- PCCN preferred
- Travel experience preferred
- Critical Care Course preferred
- Education Bachelor of Science Nursing preferred
- 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred
Other Details:
- This position will not accept local candidates.
- Unit Size: 29 beds
- Ratios: 1:5-6 acuity dependent.
- Patient Population: Ortho, Neuro and Telemetry patients
- Lines/Drains/Devices: Wounds vacs, PICC lines, Central lines.
- Airway: BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Nasal cannulas.
- Drips: Cardizem, Heparin, and Insulin. Typically non-titratable drips on MS/Tele units.
- Ancillary Staff: 1-2 support staff on per shift depending on census and availability. Phlebotomy available for lab draws.
- Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs.
